Our client is a leading consultant engaged on one of Saudi Arabia’s largest development schemes. As part of this development the company are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer to base on their project in Riyadh and oversee the various engineer works issued.
Key activities will include:
• Monitoring the programme and process of all Authority approvals;
• To review and comment on engineering design drawings ensuring that they will satisfy the requirements of the various Authorities requirements.
• Ensuring that the infrastructure design is optimised and not over-designed.
• Providing detailed feedback to various key figures within the organisation.
• Attending various meetings to agree, challenge, negotiate correct and cost effective engineering solutions for benefit of the Client.
• To provide engineering commentary on drawings, materials, specifications and codes to ensure the engineering design suitable for the project and Authorities submissions;
• Attendance at various Client / PMO, Design meetings to offer infrastructure guidance, opinion and recommendations.
Candidate Criteria:
• Senior Infrastructure Engineer with approx. 10+ years engineering experience;
• Must have minimum 2-3 years experience designing and obtaining approval from Riyadh Authorities;
• Qualified Infrastructure Engineer with Bachelor s Degree in electrical, mechanical, plumbing discipline, and with broad design oversight / delivery experience across all major utilities;
• Cradle to grave large urban master plan experience a must (design, supervision, approvals + commissioning);
• Arabic speaking preferred;
• Software abilities: AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Sharepoint / Amazon Work-Docs, Riyadh Authority approval portals;
• Must be based in Riyadh or able to relocate on short notice.
