Job objective
You will be responsible for maintaining the order and operations of at the non-food department within the store. You must train and correct staff in your department, as well as organise and stock products. Also, must be able to multitask and be detail-oriented.
Overall, your job is to ensure that everything runs smoothly within your department and in line with laid down rules and regulations. You are equally required to review profit and loss statement of the store, and to maintain and organise the merchandise in accordance with merchandising layout plan of the company.
Reporting to Store Manager SM and assist him in stock ordering and maintaining the optimum stock level in the department.
Lead the team of Store Associates in the department for mass merchandising, shelf management, stock management and cleanliness of the department.
Assist SM in achieving sales targets of the department.
Mechanizing of the Department before store opening.
Responsible for presentation of products according to Plano gram.
Must follow SOPs
Disciplined with proper & professional Attire.
Keep the track record of expiries of product during & after stock deliveries incoordination with store associates.
Stock and Shelf Management.
Provide optimum customer services.
100 % Cleanliness of the department and shelves
Addressing customer complaints to understand customers, and to propose solutions.
Contact professional customers on weekly bases to understand their needs
Perform analysis of best customers to know them
Competitors Analysis
Visit in detail the department and check the following (PSPSPP)
Welcome customers while ensuring Shelf management, Staff planning, Organization
of storage, “Planogram implementation, Gap checking, Replenishment: replenish, FIFO, Product presentation, facings, etc.
An appealing and commercial department.
Coach and train team members.
Keep a conducive and learning environment.
Ensure that each member is adhering to the policies and procedures.

Outstanding communication skills
Knowledge of HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant,Cantine) sector or FMCG
Relevant experience of minimum 3-4 years
The ability to demonstrate excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills
High levels of confidence, maturity, and competence are required
