Job Purpose:
Reporting to MENA s Sustainability lead, this role will work directly to support the implementation of PepsiCo s KSA sustainability agenda and manage internal and external stakeholders to align PepsiCo s local agenda with the organization s global sustainability targets and the region s environmental vision. The role will entail leading the development, creation and execution of key sustainability-related projects in the areas of circular economy, water, and climate change, in partnership with cross-functional teams, business unit leaders, and external implementation and third-party partners.
Key Accountabilities:
• Maintain awareness of global PepsiCo sustainability strategies, and the impact on local KSA business.
• Maintain KSA sustainability strategy across snacks and beverage businesses, align strategies with internal stakeholders, and monitor and track progress.
• Create sustainability briefing decks tailored to specific audiences.
• Maintain and develop key relationships with external sustainability-related stakeholders in Saudi Arabia including policy makers, regulators, consultants, civil society, etc.
• Maintain and develop key relationships with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and bottling partners.
• Support the KSA public policy lead in advising the business on sustainability-related issues impacting the company s operations to guide their business planning process.
• Monitor and analyse external trends impacting the company s operating environment including key environmental events and regulations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance and Ethics, Supply Chain, Franchise, Commercial teams, etc. to drive key projects in the sustainability space.
• Work closely with PepsiCo s KSA bottling partners and third parties to monitor progress in the delivery of the sustainability agenda
• Collect data and monitor the sustainability agenda with bottling partners, and creatively articulate progress to Sustainability Lead and Office of Sustainability (at the Sector level and BU level).
• Provide input to all KSA, MENA, and sector sustainability reporting requirements.
• Define, monitor and track sustainability budgets.
• Support Communications team in amplifying PepsiCo Positive themes and overall corporate reputation

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor s Degree in Economics, Environmental Science, or Engineering
• 5-7 years of experience working a similar role: private sector or government
• Background in environmental sustainability, project management and execution, or strategy is necessary
• Passion for sustainability is a plus
• Excellent communicator in Arabic and English (both written and verbal)
• Highly proactive and able to navigate ambiguity and complexity while developing successful solutions
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail while working in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions, including comfort with supporting and interacting with senior executives
• Demonstrate ability to leverage existing resources and build efficiencies and effective solutions into PepsiCo processes
• High-level of creative thinking and the confidence to use it
• Problem solving skills
