Short Description (Role Purpose)
Oversee purchasing activities for designated sectors and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality.
It is also responsible for maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and maintaining accurate records.
Job Accountabilities & Activities
• Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
• Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
• Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor s degree (preferably Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technical such as MIS) required
Required Years of Experience
3 to 4 Years in supply chain procurement.
