Objectives and Responsibilities
Works on deals assigned to the sales team.
Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements,
assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm by engaging with customers as a trusted advisor, listening and understanding their challenges and requirement - both technical and business, and clearly articulate and communicate to the sales team, and document them
OParticipate in pre-sales activities including, but not be limited to, conducting Proof of Concepts (PoC), building BoQ’s, supporting in security designs, writing full technical proposals, delivering product specific presentations and training… etc.
Design target solution architecture and implementation plan in all aspects of System Integration Solutions following the best practices.
Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.
Coordinates closely with internal sales, vendors/partners, and technical team to align
cost-effective solutions design with customers’ business requirements.
Present solutions to customers to obtain technical buy-in, estimate the bill of material
and level of effort in terms of services and compile technical proposals.
Responsible to work with vendor pre-sales teams to arrive at the best possible alternative amongst possible solutions, and to identify the right vendors for a
technology.
Define scope, cost, and schedule for projects.
Secures from customer technical staff feedback and commitments needed to ensure a
deal’s “technical close”.
Provide technical pre-sales support to various entities for the purpose of promoting and
selling products/Solutions; entities include potential customers, existing customers,
partners, and resellers.
Meets assigned targets and KPIs for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines,
market areas, channel, or teams.
Provides coaching and professional development to sales team members in order to
enhance their product knowledge, technical awareness, and technical sales skills.
Acting as a business development member towards any of potential opportunities within customer firms by collaborating with sales team to ensure these opportunities
are effectively covered.
Coordinate and oversee the execution of projects.
Measure and report progress.
This role requires a combination of architecture and hands-on deep expertise in Data
Center infrastructure systems and devices / peripherals (Data Center Facilities, Networking, Servers, Storage, Backup solution, disaster recovery, IP Telephony...etc) in addition to Cloud IaaS and DRaaS architecture.
This role will work closely with clients, partners, and other business units to ensure consulting and engagements are successful

Skills and Qualifications
A relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar.
A minimum of 7 years of industry experience, including two or more years in pre-sales
of integrated systems and cloud solutions.
Proven technology skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Product/technology certifications, engineering credentials, or equivalent technical
credentials.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to mentor and coach.
Ability to work with a low level of supervision and as a part of a team when required.
Ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language.
Willingness to travel at least 30% of the time.
