Responsibilities & Authorities:
Leading Quality staff, including general cleaners QC Controllers with an objective to ensure food safety & Quality and thereby reduce the customer complaint and to ensure a hygienic environment in plant and premises.
Establish, document, implement and maintain a well-defined HACCP system based on HACCP principles and Hygiene Management.
Review of Quality Documents (HACCP / GLP /GMP/ SOP /CCP /CP) as per changes in procedures, regulations, etc.
Demonstrate and prove the Quality Assurance Procedures (HACCP and Hygiene Controls) to customers and inspectional bodies during factory visits.
Ensure that the HACCP team is fully updated on all HACCP-related issues. - Advising the internal departments on food safety compliance.
Monitoring and verification of all records including the CCPs / CPs on a daily basis and advice as required.
Conducting HACCP meetings & providing recommendations to Management for improvements in Food safety.
Planning the external training programs, master cleaning & review of HACCP Manual. - Ensure that food handling staff fully understands food hygiene procedures and practices. - Investigate and comment on customer complaints in respect to food hygiene and safety. - Ensuring the product standard and labeling requirements are adhering to local and internal requirements while launching new products.
Approving the suppliers by doing the vendor audit & monitoring the receiving/rejection policy of food / or packaging items.
Evaluation of all food suppliers and grading them on the basis of complaints registered and major audit findings.
Preparing the detailed claim report on products deviating from agreed specifications. - Supervision and instruction of Product fumigation activities.
Review and update hygiene procedures and policies as per national and international requirements.
Conducting internal Food Hygiene audits & recommending the required corrective/preventive action. Control on Documentation and Good Record Keeping Practices.
Managing all QC’s activities & Ensuring Good Hygienic Status of the Facilities.

Assistant Quality Manager with a Food company FMCG in Riyadh (Saudi)
Skills or Competencies:
Knowledge of Dried Fruits Nuts and Spices categories, culinary skills, and food science knowledge.
Customer-oriented,
Organized and detail-oriented.
Good listening& communication skills and ability to follow directions.
Flexibility and resilience. Ability to work in an unstructured environment that requires rapid decision-making and adaptability.
Good influencing skills across organizational and cultural boundaries, excellent interpersonal skills, and Analytical thinking skills (accurate with figures).
Problem-solving and Project management skills.
Capable of combining strategic thinking and operational detail
Perfect knowledge of Windows & MS Office
Profile:
Language: English& Arabic
Academic: Masters/Post Graduate in Food technology.
Experience with the food industry standards.
Degree in Food Science/ technology.
Experience: 3 Years in FMCG foodstuff company
Driving LIC: Yes
Availability: Within 30 days of selection
