Printing Sales Consultant is responsible for marketing and building up a business by identifying new business prospects and selling printing-packaging (Pre Press - Press - Post Press) products to them.

He/She must maintain relationships with current clients and build and maintain relationships with new clients. Will also need to stay ahead of their competition and work on sharpening and improving their products sales skills by attending classes, seminars or workshops related to the packaging industry.

Provides first-class sales consultancy to packaging customers.

Acts as a liaison between consumer and manufacturer. Acts as an expert in selling goods to consumers that meet their needs and desires.

Meets with customers in a sales environment to drive printing (Pre Press - Press - Post Press) product sales and knowledge
Demonstrates advanced printing (Pre Press - Press - Post Press) products knowledge
Adheres to any and all company policies and procedures
Makes sales appointments with clients
Teams with other employees to make sure that printing (Pre Press - Post Press) products are available
Generates new leads by meeting with consumers
Follows up with any clients to make sure that they are satisfied with printing products
Meets with retail associates to help them effectively sell printing (Pre Press - Press - Post Press) products
Finds new target markets and penetrates them to drive printing sales
Understands how to make printing products appeal to consumers based on the environment and current trends
Uses the Internet to push (Pre Press - Press - Post Press) products to a given target market
Works with the marketing department to develop new sales strategies
Always looks for new ways to make printing (Pre Press - Press - Post Press) products attractive to customers
