Summary
Performs analyses on data within the data warehouse and suggesting new reports for the Enterprise Reporting Section. Provides consistent meaningful information to decision-makers to improve decision making.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1.Performs data analysis and interpretation of data provided within the data warehouse and related data marts.
2.Responds to queries for analysis.
3.Makes recommendations based on the analysis performed including presenting findings.
4.Understands data availability & access across most data systems and works to improve accuracy and availability.
5.Creates manual data extractions where necessary.
6.Builds and maintains custom dashboards.
7.Assists in defining analytics strategy and templates.
8.Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.
9.Participates in self & others’ education, training and development, as applicable.
10.Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
11.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education
Master s or Bachelor s Degree in computer science or related discipline is required.
Experience Required
Three (3) years of related experience with Master s Degree, or five (5) years of related experience with Bachelor s Degree is required.
