Based in our operational hub in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as Design Manager you will be providing support across a number of healthcare related projects within the Kingdom, understanding design requirements coordinating across Architecture, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines for projects of high complexity across all design stages (conceptual, schematic, detailed). Your experiences to date will allow you to lead technical coordination meetings and interdisciplinary checks with project teams.
You will be working with Healthcare stakeholders both internally across Jacobs’ Global Subject Matter Experts and with our clients for design value engineering for projects of high complexity. You will be working with our Project Managers for the review and validation of design deliverables with clients and authorities, capturing feedback and obtaining approvals to ensure successful project delivery.
Desired Candidate Profile

As a successful candidate you will have already successfully managed and delivered a number of multidisciplinary design projects within the healthcare sector with extensive design experience from concept through to construction and will have a proven track record of delivering projects, on time and within budget.
You will have experience in preparing design briefs, fee proposals and negotiating contracts with both subcontractors / sub consultants.
You will have a bachelor’s qualification with a relevant Architectural, Built Environment degree. PMI or APM certification and ideally be a RIBA chartered member or LEED Certified.
Ideally you will have experience of delivering Healthcare design projects on the Saudi market or within the Middle East, however other healthcare sectors overseas are also advantageous.
