Summary
Performs basic technological activities, including monitoring and break/fix, on all LAN and wireless network technologies. These services provide the connectivity backbone for KFSH&RC;.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1.Monitors and re-assess the wireless network for security issues.
2.Monitors any drops in wireless coverage and make fixes to improve coverage.
3.Conducts wireless site survey for the related site.
4.Tests, analyzes, and balances the wireless network load to ensure optimized wireless network function.
5.Grants access to the network.
6.Monitors the network to ensure network availability to all users.
7.Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.
8.Participates in self & others’ education, training and development, as applicable.
9.Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
10.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education
Master s or Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline is required.
Experience Required
One (1) years of related experience with Master s Degree, or three (3) years of related experience with Bachelor s Degree is required.
