Head the PMO within a matrix organisation
Functional Management of project managers, project engineers, projects support and planning
Line management of the PMO
Development of the PMO as process and procedure owner
Head our risk management function
Responsible for improving Nuvia’s project delivery, processes, systems and guidance.
Ensure the successful implementation of the PMO’s strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables
Ensure cross-programme dependencies are managed
Coordinate best practice and ensure lessons learned are logged
Build cohesion within the PMO team and motivate the team to meet the busienss objectives
Define and embed project control and governance
Provide support to project planning, milestone management, scope management, resource forecasting; financial management; change management across the PMO
Prepare regular status reporting to all levels of the business
Ensure efficient change control methods and process are utilised
Recruit and develop Project Management resources

Develop and implement a strategy for the PMO and project delivery to assist in the business meeting or exceeding its forward strategy
Experience of managing a PMO office or a large project encompassing PMO function
Good overall knowledge of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC
Leadership / Management experience from a senior project management rol
Experience and capability to achieve membership of the Association for Project Management (APM existing membership preferred
Good relationship management skill
Personable, pro-active, professional and able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional customer care and service in all activitie
Handle difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion, HR advice, and respect for the individua
Exemplary communication skills
Able to advise the Executive level of the business and help to provide PMO direction strategically
Experience of project management using APM methodology
Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders
Strong skills in creating and maintaining project plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies
Proven and successful experience of project delivery at a senior level in a contracting organisation
Proven experience of successful schedule and risk management
Extensive experience in the engagement and management of supply chain partners
Hands on experience of construction site management
