Provides day to day operational support to in the area of Facility Maintenance and upkeep. Maintains a Maintenance Action Call Report (MACR) that outlines an active record of resolved, deferred and unresolved maintenance and service issues in regards to the Facility Structures, Grounds and Services. Ensures Maintenance Work Requests are completed, recorded on the Maintenance Action Call Report, and a copy is turned over the Facility Maintenance Contractor for resolution. Receives completed Work Requests form the Facility Maintenance Contractor, verifies the work was completed to the established quality standard and closes out the Maintenance Action Call Report entry for that Work Request Number on the MACR. Ensures the MACR is updated daily and all records are prepared for a no notice inspection by OPM-SANG. Provides Weekly Facility Maintenance reports to the AITD Manager in support of reporting requirements to higher headquarters. Prepares a monthly deliverable report IAW the PWS requirements.

Education Level: High school graduate certificate or equivalent years of relevant experience required; post-secondary education (i.e., Associate’s degree) preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of broad-based experience in construction, facility maintenance, coordination or Department of Public Works
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements: Must speak, read, write and comprehend English effectively, must possess a basic understanding of vertical and horizontal construction, allied trades (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Septic Systems, HVAC and Landscaping). Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with emphasis on MS Excel. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written. Ability to coordinate multiple projects or actions simultaneously. Excellent work ethic and strong organizational and work management skills. Possess a valid driver’s license.
