Conducting and monitoring activities related to the training and development of employees, through the complete cycle of planning, review, evaluation, and development of Employees performance evaluation, also identifying training needs for employees, planning the execution of training and development programs, coordinating with training vendors, as well as evaluating training vendors and the impact of different training and development programs.
Technical and Executive Duties
Tracking the performance management system and ensuring the proper data entry of information related to the planning, review, and evaluation of employees’ performance as per set policies and procedures and within set timeframes.
Gathering and providing performance management results and reports to different functions within the HR department in order to integrated in relevant HR practices such as training and development and succession planning.
Providing guidance and support in relation to understanding the evaluation of competencies as well as setting KPIs and targets based on inputs from the strategy department and providing historical data to concerned managers.

Supporting in the development and review of training and development practices, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and SMASCO’s business requirements.
Monitoring the process of identifying training needs across SMASCO and its subsidiaries at both the institutional and individual level through ensuring the completion of required forms and the proper analysis of employees’ performance evaluation results.
Coordinating the relationship with training vendors, negotiating key details in providing training programs, monitoring the executing of programs, as well as providing any required information regarding employees and their needs and requirements.
