Our leading SaaS based e-commerce client requires a Chief Technology Officer to drive the technology advancement of the company, elevating it to the next level.
Your Responsibilities
• As CTO you will be directly responsible for developing and leading all aspects of the company’s technology development.
• It is expected you will provide direction in all technology-related issues in support of information operations.
• You will be responsible for building and leading the best quality tech team in the region
• You will be tasked with upskilling and developing the tech team practices internally and externally
• Ensure strong communication with all stakeholders and department heads to achieve the companies vision.
• You will be fundamental in the company accomplishing all main milestones related to technology
• Your experiences will assist in creating the very best level of service to the platform users
• You will need a sound technical leadership and communicate with staff, executives, stakeholders and customers to ensure the company’s technologies are used appropriately and optimally.
• Strategic, technical vision, forward thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role.
• The CTO should display dynamism, high-energy, credibility and excitement particularly in leading a high-performing and expanding team, in planning for and execution of an aggressive product roadmap that includes SaaS and first-in-market platforms
Your Qualifications
• Excellent experience in an organization providing and deploying enterprise and SaaS software solutions and professional services to enterprise clients as well as SaaS and web-based solutions is highly preferred.
• BS/BA in computer science, engineering or related major or equivalent combination of education and experience. A graduate degree in one of these fields is a plus.
• Development of enterprise software solutions deployed to customers/clients.
• Demonstrated ability to envision and architect web-based services and SaaS that meet consumer needs or solve business problems.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience with minimum of 10 years experience managing tech teams. An advocate for the development team.
• Keen business acumen and proven executive management abilities based on prior experience.
• Forthright and a team player who is an active member of a high performance management team.
• Provide leadership and motivation to the development team via a dynamic, confident and professional demeanor.
• Knowledgeable with more than one software development methodology and multiple products.
