Duties and Responsibilities
Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct (GEN-GLD-002).
Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department/service and within the hospital as per Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan (GEN-QPS-003).
Actively participates in all the education requirement and activities as per the Hospital Education Program (GEN-SQE-002).
Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of practice and employment contract.
Performs routine clerical tasks such as answering phones and facilitating prompt messages to physician staff.
Performs filing, typing of correspondences/ schedules and reports as required.
Initiates pages or telephone calls and return calls to physicians within and outside KFMMC as directed by the Medical Directors.
Arranges departmental and committees meetings as directed by the Medical Directors & Committee Chairman.
Collates or secure data and prepares reports as requested by the Medical Director.
Assists staff and other departmental personnel in disseminating pertinent information, making suggestions and answering questions to resolve issues
Creates and distributes agenda/minutes of the departmental and committee meetings.
Keeps office clean and organized.
Performs and assists with other departmental duties as needed.

Has knowledge in using computer software with emphasis on basic word processing and spreadsheet applications in a Windows environment.
Has skill in operating various office equipment such as copier, document shredder and facsimile.
Has the ability to communicate with employees, physicians and mid-level practitioner and management in a courteous and professional manner.
Has the ability to maintain confidentiality
Has the ability to process assigned duties and work independently in an efficient and organized manner.
Has the ability to pay close attention to detail.
Has the ability to work in a multi-task environment.
Has the ability to identify research and resolve problems and discrepancies.
Has the ability to maintain patience and composure in difficult situations.
Has the ability to work extra hours and put forth extra effort when needed.
Ability to exhibit leadership by demonstrating a commitment to teamwork, supporting alignment with company and department goals objectives, assisting others to develop their knowledge of the company and department, adapting to change in a positive manner that exemplifies commitment and working proactive with minimal supervision
Has the ability to resolve conflict by persuading others through explanation to accept a course of action and by approaching conflict from a positive viewpoint rather than a negative one.
Has the ability to work in a multi-national hospital environment.
Has the ability to work as a team player.
Has the ability to type of at least net of 80 words per minute with 85% typing speed accuracy.
