Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct.
Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department and the hospital as per the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.
Actively participates in the education requirement for the department and the hospital as per the Hospital Education Program.
Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the scope of practice and employment contract
Maintains 24hrs availability in monitoring power plant control room and hospital emergency diesel generator.
Resets all alarms that will appear to high voltage field panel and turbine surveillance panel.
Unloads 32,000 liters of diesel fuel from ARAMCO delivery truck to fuel storage tanks.
Computes weekly, monthly power and fuel costs plus percentage fuel remaining in storage tanks.
Switches on/off diesel fuel supply if necessary for boiler use, upon request of the duty operator.
Performs and conduct visual inspection of the external gas turbine piping’s, leakage of oil, fuel at the gas generator PT/AC and auxiliary package. Motor vibration for the unloading and forwarding pumps, should be reported.
Operates the gas turbine and the diesel generator in accordance with established procedures
Keeps hourly record of all running machinery, fuel logistics, power consumption and other necessary records.
Carries out P.P.M Work under the supervision of the Senior Power Plant Operator. Carry out service request work in accordance with service manual requirements.
Carries out workmanship maintenance on gas turbine components.
Assists in the disconnection, removal, replacement and re-commissioning of gas turbine engines, under the supervision of the Power Plant Engineer and is aware of all safety procedures involved.
Carries out corrective action in case fire emergency situations to safeguard personnel and equipment.
Trouble shoots and rectifies problems on instrumentation and control system.
Carries out emergency high voltage switching and have a thorough knowledge of recognized safety procedures.
To parallel A/C generators, synchronize and connect to common bus-bars, in auto and manual modes. To transfer power from SCECO to Power Plant
المهارات
Knowledge in Personal Computer.
Knowledge in Microsoft Application Software.
Good command in English both written and oral.
Education:

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
