Summary
Assists in monitoring the security of Healthcare Information Technology Affairs assets and networks to identify events and problems, for logging these issues, and for escalating them as necessary based on the nature of the problem. In doing so, this job reduces the number of service interruptions to KSFH&RC;due to security events and helps maintain the security of the data and information of KSFH&RC;.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1.Logs and document security-related events and support troubleshooting of issues on a 24/7 basis.
2.Detects security breaches and escalate for investigation.
3.Supports the Network & Security Senior Technician, as necessary.
4.Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.
5.Participates in self & others’ education, training and development, as applicable.
6.Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
7.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education
Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline, or High School Education is required.
Experience Required
No experience required with Diploma, or one (1) year of related experience with High School Education is required.
