Head of Internal Audit Responsibilities:

Responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing career paths for direct reports.
Establish and assign departmental goals to team members and evaluate their performance.
Provide technical assistance with investigations, special audits, and provide subject-matter expertise as needed.
Provide risk management and internal control leadership and support regarding effective operating and designed controls, risk mitigation strategies.
Perform annual risk assessment during audit planning and development of the audit strategy, audit plan, and audit scope.
Lead large engagements and drive teams in program execution.
Leads the planning and execution of audit engagements
Identifies significant processes, develop audit objectives, and prepares the risk assessment process for each audit assignment.
المهارات
Head of Internal Audit Tasks:

At least three years experience in internal auditing with a major audit firm (EY, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC)
Professional certifications such as the CIA or CFE.
Business development and growth of the practices.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Current knowledge of industry practices, trends, and issues.
Highly developed organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Strong management or leadership skills.
