Leads the IT Governance team and is accountable for that team’s performance.
Responsible for creating and maintaining Key Performance Indicators for overall IT Performance.
Responsible and accountable for IT Governance (Policy Management, Enterprise Security Framework, Data Governance).
Leads teams responsible for the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of a secure environment
Manages teams responsible for ensuring adequate security processes and solutions are in place to mitigate or remediate identified risks sufficiently to meet business objectives, contractual and/or regulatory requirements.
Delivers Key Performance indicators to drive success to leadership
Builds and maintains a highly engaged team. Leads team to execute on strategy and to continuously improve service levels.
Cascades strategy through team and ensures team is resourced to focus on work that drives strategy. Demonstrates and holds team accountable for financial stewardship through the reduction of operational costs and improving throughput through self-service and automation.
Ties performance to outcomes and strategy. Develops talent to ensure bench strength for key roles. Assists in leading team through change. Establish and maintain a communication cadence for individual updates, teams, customers, and other teams as needed to drive engagement and outcomes.
Researches and implements emerging technologies to enhance the security portfolio.
Demonstrates financial and fiscal stewardship and may participate in or have responsibility for development and oversight of a cost centre/budget.
Accountable for monitoring, system revisions and patches are up to date.
Proactively identifies risks and impact to all downstream systems in the corporate environment and their interconnectivity
Helps build and drive a security aware culture that understands security risks and impact to all corporate solutions
Oversees and manages teams that support enterprise high-availability solutions running a complex arrangement operating systems, including system updates, log analysis, access controls and backup.
Function as the single point of IT management contact for key elements such as enterprise IT policy governance, enterprise IT strategy, and IT risk acceptance.
Ensure visibility, escalation and management of IT risks inherent in the delivery of technology services.
Monitor key performance and key risk indicators, and escalate breaches in triggers or limits.
Responsible for procedure governance and oversight as per ITIL & CoBIT standards
Execute and mature the IT Governance program in line with heightened standards and mandates.
Maintain supporting program framework, charters, and processes.
Develop and implement processes to assess and/or monitor the effectiveness IT procedures to ensure adherence to standards and policies as appropriate.
Maintain strong and effective working relationships with all areas of Risk Management.

Requirements
8 to 10 years of related experience including mastery in a minimum of two business operations domains:
IT Financial Management,
IT Portfolio Management, Project Tracking, and reconciliation,
Audit and Controls, Metrics and Measurements, Vendor - Procurement management, and Lean Management.
Should have moved across different departments within IT to gain a broader perspective of the business/industry.
Certified in ITIL & CoBIT
Critical thinker.
Demonstrated problem-solving techniques.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Collaborative working and engaging with multiple client business, IT, and other departments
