Role Description:
Project manager responsibilities include delivering projects on time within budget and scope. Actively participate in the management of all Project Management Office (PMO) activities, projects, programs and portfolios. Management of Project Management System including technical support, changes, access and training.
Project/ Program/ Portfolio Management:
Actively participate in the development and maintenance of project management framework, governance and methodology based on the best industry standards
Manage and develop the project management system and ensure all requested changes, access, requirements and issues are addressed in timely manner
Conduct project management system training sessions to AHMC staff
Manage assigned projects as per PMO methodology and be responsible for their successful outcome
Coordinate and manage program key activities as assigned
Monitor AHMC programs/ projects progress and advise corrective action plans (if required) to ensure their success
Ensure the compliance of all involved parties with the PMO methodology, processes, policies and procedures
Assist in AHMC portfolio management
Provides project management support for other services/departments
Manage AHMC projects/programs issues and risks to ensure they are addressed and resolved in timely manner
Report and escalate to higher management as needed
Measure project/program performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Participate in the development of PMO department operating budget
Relationship Management:
Manage the relationship with and satisfaction of all stakeholders
Responsible for delivering regular updates, dashboards and reports to higher management
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Represent the PMO in committees and advises on projects related matter.
Policies, Procedures, Processes and Documentation:
Develop and maintain Project Management workflows, manuals, forms, policies and procedures and ensure their compliance with the best industry standards
Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement
Ensure the compliance with all AHMC relevant policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment, and legislative compliance
People Management:
Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility to the project team members
Provide opportunities for team members to suggest, participate in, and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives
Generate commitment, motivation and enthusiasm to team goals, and guide team members through periods of change or uncertainty
المهارات
Necessary Knowledge and Experience:
5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years of experience in healthcare.
Understand and meet the criteria and standards developed by the Joint Commission International and appropriate standards for a hospital facility
Education and Certification Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field/equivalent is required.
Project Management certification is required
