Project Manager – Hospitals (FE-PM)

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the Hospital maintenance, construction and renovation projects, as well as equipment installations are preformed properly within a scope of work to include budgets, schedules and all applicable guidelines of state and local regulations.

Key objectives include:

Oversee and document all aspects of specific projects and the work performed by outside contractors and performs inspections to ensure compliance with Hospital and various Commission requirements.
Review detailed specifications and plans of work including estimated cost (labor, material and equipment) and time schedule.
Evaluate bid proposals staying within budgetary guidelines.
Assess the environment for safety hazards including infection control issues which would cause harm to patients, visitors or staff.
Conduct and document contractor safety training sessions to ensure all contractor and subcontractor personnel are knowledgeable and familiar with the healthcare environment requirements.
Participate in various Commission reviews in correcting any deficiencies to insure hospital remains compliant.
Proficient in Facility One (CMMS) entering work orders and understanding the PM process.
Coordinate and administer the preventive maintenance program to ensure proper function and compliance.
Maintain and improve job knowledge and skills through continuing education and professional development.
Keep Director of Facilities informed if any unusual concerns, situations or conditions relative to projects.
Complete other duties as requested by the Director of Facilities.
المهارات
Qualifications:

10+ years of experience within Project Management
Healthcare and Institutional project experience is preferred
Consultant experience preferred
Computer experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to reach and interpret construction drawings, schematics, shop drawings and blueprints.
