Description The Adult Hematology Unit is an acute 23 bed unit providing care for patients 14 years of age and older.
Patients are admitted with various hematological disorders and cancers requiring radiotherapy, including:
Acute and Chronic Leukemia
Aplastic Anemia
Multiple Myeloma
Sickle Cell Anemia
Burkitt s lymphoma
Thalassemia
Myelodysplastic Syndrome
ITP; TTP
Autologous Bone Marrow Transplantation
Bone Marrow Donors
Post BMT supportive treatments
