THE POSITION
We are hiring a Key Account Manager (Avian) for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing mutually beneficial business relationship with strategic and key customers within the poultry sector. This includes responsibility for achieving the sales budget, executing the sales & marketing plan and leading the account planning process for customers.
Tasks&Rsponsibilities;:
• Achieve short and mid-term financial and key performance targets.
• Set and execute the Strategic and Key Customer Business Plans in line with the local avian strategy and ensure proper priority setting and focus to achieve targets at customer level.
• Gather and update key insights based on monthly performance analysis and take quick action based on these insights, in particular focusing on achieving/growing Share of wallet (SOW)leadership across species
• Lead by compiling all relevant information in the CRM system for customers & maintain call rates by achieving reach and frequency for customer.
• Drive innovation and change through creation of innovative solutions on launching products to customers.
• Implement the growth strategy and define the short, medium and long term growth tactics for the BI SAM/KAM Customers in close collaboration with META BIAH Strategic Account Management.
• Ensure activities and interactions are in line with Boehringer Ingelheim compliance guidelines and ensures adherence to corporate SOP’s and procedures, local regulations, ethical standards and best practices as applicable.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Master’s degree in business administration is a plus.
• At least 5 years solid sales and marketing experience with a proven track record of achieving targets and execution of strategy preferably with Avian Strategic/Key accounts.
• Knowledge of the Animal Health Industry economics and drivers.
• Fluent written and spoken English & Arabic
• Ability and willingness to travel (can be 60%)
