We’re looking for a competitive, passionate, and goal-oriented Key Account Leads – Building Materials to join our Online Marketplace company. In this role, you’ll be tasked with quickly and aggressively building acquisitions for Vendors and Service Providers along with their product line and developing a high-performance team
You must be comfortable working as both a team player and possess the skills to acquire vendors and products as well as train and motivate a dynamic team towards success. You’ll have the freedom (and you must possess the conviction) to create and implement strategies that will lead to the continued growth of our organization. Job Responsibilities
Maintain responsibility for performance of all Vendor Acquisitions & Product Line activities within an assigned territory
Establish and strategically build a solid Client base and build long-term relationships
Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
Recruit, train, and motivate the team toward hitting specified business requirements and achieve the highest levels of Client satisfaction with all interactions
Forecast and track key account metrics and set team goals and conduct quarterly performance reviews with all team members
Lead by example, using the established procurement processes and close a high percentage of the leads that you and your team generate
Continually analyze the Vendor and Service providers acquisition process in an effort to refine and improve its success and work with upper management to establish reporting framework
Provide strong leadership to achieve maximum profitability and growth in conjunction with company goals
Job Skills & Qualifications
Preferred
Strong track record of accomplishments and promotions in the Procurement & Vendor Acquisition areas
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Highly personable with the ability to quickly build relationships
Experience setting ladders and constant target achiever
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
5+ years of proven procurement account management – Client Acquisitions & Products Category specialization experience in Building Materials industry and knowledge of building materials
Excellent organizational, problem-solving and negotiation skills
Deep digital understanding of Online trading and metrics
Expert at Microsoft Office Suite & CRM
