Role Purpose
We are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to be based on a major programme in Riyadh, KSA.
The successful candidates will be responsible for showing high levels of technical capability, sound commercial knowledge and a good understanding of the key drivers or cost and value; capturing and sharing knowledge and driving innovation in service.
What this job involves
• Reporting to a Senior Project Manager and functionally to a Commercial Lead, provide support to cost and commercial leadership in the delivery of pre and post-contract services.
• Manage and update project budgets throughout design, procurement and delivery.
• Take suitable commercial meeting minutes.
• Use CostX, Excel and other Microsoft Office programmes to an advanced level
• Work pre contract including; reviewing detailed measurements, sections of BOQs, handle tender query responses, manage the PQQ process with support and input into value engineering at each design stage.
• Work post contract including; being strong in contract administration, comfortable on site walks with project teams, prepare cash flow reports, draft monthly payment recommendations and weekly commercial dashboards, managing variations and assist in closing out projects and claims / variations.
Sound like you? To apply you need to be / have:
• Previous experience working in the Middle East
• Degree in related subject (BSc Quantity Surveying)
• MRICS would be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience pre and post contract in project / programme delivery teams.
