MEP Engineer– Facility Management

Our client, a market leader in Real Estate and Property Development is seeking an MEP Engineer– Facility Management. Based in Riyadh and reporting to the Head of Facility Management.

To involve working in the broader field of civil/MEP engineering, and their job is to
apply their knowledge of engineering principles in the planning, development, design, and maintenance of facilities and various building structures.
To conduct research, collect information, and analyze reports, blueprints, and use the findings when planning projects. Their responsibilities include estimating the costs and use of labor, equipment, and materials, determining the feasibility of a project, and the management with the relevant reports.
To supervise the technical personnel such as internal or external construction and FM Service Company at construction sites and oversee all operations and maintenance activities. They will advise management on design and development, propose modifications to existing designs and solutions, and recommend structural repairs when necessary.
To supervise all the standard operating procedures of the Technical and Safety & Security Departments of all Facilities and Properties managed by the Company. Moreover, monitor services including gas, water, septic tank and other services performed by third parties
Participate in the internal takeover of property from the Construction department and handover of shops to the tenants
Participate in the Mall Handover related snags reports, and for furnishing the assets tagging and Labelling, conducting testing commissioning, and assist in providing the Operation & Maintenance Manual and the warranty list.(DLP)
To report regularly about Technical and Safety procedures and operation, completion of works and maintenance, and Expenditure to the General Management of the Company.
Any other assignment that might be necessary for the completion of the Company’s Management of Properties and Facilities and in which the Technical and Safety & Security involvement might be needed, requested, and proposed by the Management.

Bachelor’s degree in MEP Engineering
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
You must have an excellent knowledge of engineering, design, technology, construction, and mathematics.
