Role Purpose:
Accountability for managing a team of sales reps and supervisors for modern trade channel, ensuring to hit on set target volume, distribution, customer service levels, go-to-market execution performance and routes productivity rates , Reporting to National Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to
Lead and optimize modern trade department, leading this channel to represent15% to 20% of the entire business of Canned Soft Drinks Factory.For fiscal year 2021, Modern Trade Sales Manager is primarily tasked to reach 15 Million SAR overall annual sales.
Strengthen relationship with key accounts, and utilize his exposure and expertise to open up accounts such as Lulu, Carrefour, Tamimi and Danube Hypers.
Maintain the entire portfolio of key accounts at following terms:
Up to 10% margin discounts (including all kinds of discounts, such as rebates, listing, promotions and other fees).
Payment terms: Aging not to exceed 3 calendar months
Proactive style to clear all pending payments with technical mechanism to track all accounts in full synchronization with accounting team.
Maximize volume, distribution, and accounts productivity based on reliable reports that reveal performance of every branch vs. each product availability on weekly basis
Build a team of 12 sales reps and 2 supervisors, and monitor their daily performance to ensure maximum coverage across Saudi Arabia.
Coach, train and lead a team of 12 sales reps & 2 supervisors and help them frontline on selling and display execution as well as merchandising standards.
Coordinate with Business Development Manager to develop efficient route planning for modern trade expansion routes.
Conduct daily morning briefings with his team and weekly review to assess performance against set targets.
Assist sales reps in achieving sales targets, execution initiatives, and route productivity set rates
Handle key accounts’ complaints and other related concerns
Ensure that sales team members are fully adhering to the Company’s policies and procedures.
Report to National Sales Manager daily & weekly scorecard report of every route, reflecting every branch performance vs. products availability as well as sell-in and sell-out reports.
Ensure all customers data is constantly updated and correct

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
4 managerial years of experience of modern trade in FMCG industry.
