CAREGIVER

Under the direction of Home Health Care (HHC) Manager, The CAREGIVER will be responsible to provide nursing care or assisting HHC Doctors to an identified HHC patient outside Company premises (home) in accordance to the standard Home Health Care plan and to comply with all Company rules and regulations accordingly.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Fulfil all the tasks and duties according to job requirements.
Follow the defined care plan initiated and reviewed by the service nurse/ designee.
Provide patient with the knowledgeable, skilful care to comply with the policies and procedures
Show the assigned patient all care, dignity and professionalism to ensure respect and trust.
Utilize the appropriate communication skills in reporting any occurrence not consistent with the operation standard patient service expected by the Company and the client and all situations that put the patient/ staff at risk for injury or other harm.
Show and demonstrates continuous professional development by attending all possible in-service education sessions.
Attend the entire required orientation program and passes the entire required position competency. (Please see attached competency sheet).
Show respect for the culture, laws and customs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dress in appropriate uniform as provided by and according to the Company dress code.
Demonstrate the understanding of the patient rights and maintains the confidentiality of all patient related information.
Maintain current BLS Certificate.
Apply a holistic approach in dealing with the patient (physical/psychological support).
Provide patient and family education as needed.
Participate in person-centred care initiatives undertaken by the Company.
Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
Assist family member for patient / Client medication.
Taking Client vital sign according to Client needs & Schedule.
Personal care: help a person in the bath getting addressed and with eating.
Help Patient in all day to day activities.
Taking care of the Client’s appointments and assist in going along.
Help the client to become more self-sufficient, in teaching and encouraging to live independently.
Never use the Client’s things for yourself.
Keep your professional life separate from your personal life while you care of client.
Control any negative reaction to chronic, disability or the living condition.
Perform other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, commensurate with his/her assignment

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

High School Diploma with good command of English Language
First Aid (If not available, will be provided)
Competency Care GIVER Training Certificate (If not available, will be provided)
Minimum 1+ year(s) professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviours (preferred, not a must)
