Operations
Plan the daily distribution of resources and supervise warehouse staff to ensure safe, clean and efficient operation of the warehouse.
Supervise inbound and outbound shipments or deliveries to ensure they are carried out accurately and on time.
Develop work schedules and assignments to assure effective operation and maximize warehouse staff productivity and storage efficiency.
Stock Accuracy and Inventory Management
Ensure accurate documentation of received and dispatched goods to maintain stock accuracy.
Ensure that all inventory transactions are accurately updated on the Warehouse Management System.
Conduct regular cycle counts with the Warehouse team and support inventory audits
Storage and handling of goods:
Ensure that products are stored in the designated locations and that warehouse damages are limited.
Ensure that Warehouse space is utilized at utmost efficiency
Supervise the picking and loading operations to ensure that products are picked and loaded on time, in the right quantity and with right quality.
Control safety, security and maintenance:
Ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed.
Conduct regular trainings for Warehouse staff on safety and security procedures to eliminate accidents and pilferage.
Conduct quality checks on vehicles loaded for deliveries and recommend rectification or repair of trucks if not in good condition.
المهارات
2-4 years’ experience as Warehouse Supervisor or a similar role;
At least 2 years’ experience in an FMCG or Food company;
Excellent knowledge of WMS;
Good supervisory skills and proven track record of supervising warehouse staff;
Customer Service Oriented;
Strong planning and organizing skills;
Good problem solving skills;
High level of ownership and initiative;
