Our client is now recruiting for a Manager- Programme Planning. This position will be based in Riyadh-KSA
Job Description:
The Manger- programme planning will be responsible for providing overall planning & scheduling leadership for the programme from End-to-End system integrated echo-system.
As a Master programme planner, you will be responsible for ensuring all schedules are prepared and updated in accordance with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Best Practices. The planner will monitor schedule performance, identify and analyze trends and make recommendations for workarounds or recovery plans in a proactive manner. Responsibilities include resource loading schedules, analyzing schedule risk assessments, performing critical path analysis and schedule health audits, providing support to management and customer reviews. He/She will work closely with the Programme Managers, project managers, Solution providers and Programme Director to create a central control point / interface among the various vendors, solution providers and the client organization
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan and schedule efforts on the programme to ensure that programme technical, SOW, scope, cost, quality and schedule performance objectives are achieved.
• Maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration amongst solution and service provider’s schedules, the Integrated Master Schedule, and the Programme Summary Master Schedule.
• Maintain integrated schedule during the programme life cycle monitoring progress and incorporating modifications where changes in the original scope occur or delays are encountered.
• Help identify, manage and control the interdependencies among the projects.
• Detect, resolve and propose solutions for any scheduling conflicts at the programme or projects level.
• Ensure the integrated programme master plan can meet the major agreed upon milestones and deadlines.
• Propose fast-tracking or crashing options to programme managers and project managers to help control a possible schedule deviation.
• Perform independent schedule risk assessments and assist the team with developing mitigation plans as needed.
• Utilize project cost estimates to resource load project schedules and gain alignment with estimated scope of work and the project schedule
• Provide customer reporting of master programme and its constituent project schedule progress via Integrated Master Schedule, including Probabilistic Schedule Risk Assessment using Monte Carlo simulation.
• Ensure consistent planning and Earned Value policies and procedures.
• Interact with programme teams to assist in development of WBS and IMS.
• Perform critical path analyses to determine problem areas in regards to project schedule and resource overloads, alerting the project team to critical scheduling issues.
• Work closely with the programme managers and project managers to perform resource levelling ensuring effective and efficient resource allocation.
• Evaluate project deviations to assess schedule impact for proper decision making.
• Reporting and interface with contractors and project management.
• Perform ongoing schedule analyses, critical path analyses, earned value analyses, risk analyses reporting, evaluate /recommend schedule improvement opportunities
• Prepare schedule-related portions of monthly reports

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in computer science or similar
• Certified Project Manager PMI PMP or Prince 2
• Minimum 10 years professional experience in planning for Mega projects in information management systems.
• Professional experience in healthcare management information system.
• Solid experience in building Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with best practices
• Experience in vendor and 3rd party management, including managing relationships over extended periods of time and over multiple projects.
• Experience in procurement processes, tender management (RFP/RFQ) & contract management.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies. Proficient in MS Project or equivalent
• Experience in leading and managing project (preferred in the KSA region)
• Very good English or Arabic business, technical communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams.
• Familiar with Work Breakdown Structure generation
