Monitors and report on the company’s inventory.
1. Leads a team of inventory or warehouse employees to receive and record new stock as its delivered and shipped out.
2. Duties include recording daily deliveries, evaluating new shipments, and analyzing different suppliers.
3. Devising ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
4. Inspecting the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages.
5. Ensuring product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.
6. Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships.
7. Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.
8. Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
