Senior Cyber Security Specialist

الوصف الوظيفي
Detect and analyse security incidents affecting GAC and be responsible for processing alerts from various detection platforms, and ensuring consistent risk response processes are executed.

Roles and responsibilities:

Maintain and administrate application security tools.
Study and evaluate cyber security solutions with ability to fully-manage security project as well as develop solution proposals and project documentation.
Ensure all cyber security systems are up to date upon patch release.
Work closely with Governance, Risk and Compliance units to apply recommended security controls.
Work actively on security incidents raised bythe internal Security Operation Centre (SOC) following approved incident response plan.
Investigate identified security weaknesses in addition to recommending and applying necessary enhancements.
Monitor all threats detected by security solution and apply corrective actions.
Qualifications & Professional Experience:

Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Information Security or related fields.
4+ years of experience in network and application security filed.
Professional Certificates such as CEH, CCIE Security, CompTIA Security+, GMON or equivalent are preferred.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Strong knowledge of security best practices.
Proficiency-Level of EnglishLanguage( Spoken-Written).
Multi-tasking capability.

Technical Competencies:

Hands on experience on application security tools like Endpoint protection, DLP, Web security, Email Security and Data Classification
Good Knowledge and understanding of SEIM solution, PAM, IAM and VAPT
Good Knowledge and understanding of network designs, security standards and protocols.
