Main Job Purpose:
Having a mechanical engineering background and strong experience in Engineering & Construction and EPC projects in Saudi Arabia, with problem solving and critical thinking mind, the position occupier shall purchase contracting department material or services and ensure the quality of products and competitive prices in a timely manner. He shall play an integral role in ensuring that all projects stick to its budgets and operate profitably. He will be reporting to group supply chain director.
Job Responsibilities:
Makes arrangements to buy projects requirements with right quality at the right time in the best price from the right supplier
Assures that projects obtain the best dollar value added purchased material with required quality.
Negotiates with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
Manages cash flow through weekly meetings.
Controls spend management and builds procurement long-term saving culture.
Updates market price index and support tendering team with periodical reports.
Plans, forecasts and reorders projects requirements.
Planning and scheduling tasks over both short and long-term time periods.
Tracks and reports key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Sets the PDCA Improvement Plan.
Ensures that purchased items are in full compliance to projects HSE & Quality requirement.
Reviews, Roll-out and Standardize all the business processes.
Work in compliance with Corporate Policies & procedures rocedures.
Coaching & leading procurement team & evaluates performance.
Experience in Oracle ERP Transactions is preferred.
Finalizes purchase orders .
Collaborates with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the required scope.
Performs risk management for supply contracts and agreement.

Qualifications & Experiences;
7- 10 year Experience in similar role, with 5 years in managerial position.
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
Fluent in English language.
