Job Summary

The position is responsible for direct oversight of the day to day development and construction accounting operations of a fast-paced and established Construction Company. The senior Accountant will work very closely with the Managing Director, Project Managers, and all other concerned department heads to communicate status on any open/closed projects, contracts, and payments.

Responsibilities

ACCOUNTING RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the accounting operations of the company.
Communicate routinely with Project Managers on a variety of job-related topics, including bonding, insurance, and contract agreements.
Participate in the formation and implementation of company financial plans
Preparation of all monthly financial reports
Work with outside accounting/financial firms on monthly close-out procedures
Provide reporting and budgeting as required by Senior Management.
Manage company and project cash flow
Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable staff and functions.
Work with project management staff ensuring proper compliance with accounting procedures including reviewing
and analyzing job cost estimates and reports monthly.
Develop written accounting procedures for the operations staff and work with the team to ensure proper implementation and compliance.
Ensure compliance with VAT principles
Liaise with our Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures.
Coordinate/interface with cost accounting system software provider.
Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
STRATEGIC INITIATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creating new accounting/operations procedures to prepare and manage a rapidly growing entity and the evolving business structure.
Develop and maintain relationships with key partners including banks, title companies, etc. that will support and grow the business
Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
المهارات
BSc/BA in Accounting or Fiannace.
7+ Yrs of work experience.
Experience in the Saudi Market.
Transferable Iqama is a must.
Experience in the construction field.
Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
Proficient user of finance software.
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Excellent planning, problem-solving, analytical, technical, and numerical abilities are crucial.
