Job Description and Requirements
Job Summary

Works under direct supervision.

Expedites activities or purchase items at various vendors to meet the project’s schedule.

Tracks orders, receives goods, and places products into inventory.

Records and maintains inventory of quantity, type of materials, parts received and distributed, manually or by using a computer.

Confers with supervisors to determine overdue materials and parts and to inform supervisors about the status of the product.

Remains in contact with the contractor to make sure that the project is smoothly running according to schedule.

Frequently checks with the suppliers to ensure that delivery will be possible on the agreed date, for timely delivery.

Ready to solve routine problems and issues such as the operation going over budget or the contractor needing more materials than planned.

Contributes to the development of contingency plans.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 15 years of related work experience
