Job Description and Requirements
Job Summary

The person will be providing Procurement services on the NEOM project providing Procurement advise and services across all the NEOM projects and activities. He/ She will report to the AECOM Procurement Lead on the project.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities will be to perform procurement management duties on the NEOM project on infrastructure and building projects. He/ She will generally be responsible for the following tasks:

Delivery of all aspects of procurement of work packages, consultants, suppliers and the like from inception of a project through to completion.

Achieve the highest standards of professional competence and to demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the profile of the company.

To maintain and develop good relationships with clients, take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry.

Produce RFP’s including soliciting information from the Client and Consultants

Issue of all RFP’s and Tender documentation using the Clients tender portal

Carrying out all actions and tasks in the tender process including coordination all queries/ responses, arranging interviews and meetings

Manage the tender process, review and prepare all detailed tender returns analysis

Assist in the preparation of tender recommendations to the client and assist in the selection process.

Assist on Awards and placement of Contracts

Prepare Contracts in conjunction with the Client and Legal representatives

Works on projects of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors and appropriate problem solving. Acts as an advisor to subordinates to resolve technical problems.

Specific skills required:

Familiar with all Contract types including FIDIC

Familiar with all procurement methods including Traditional, Design & Build, PPP, EPC etc

Through understanding of Conditions of Contract and contractual issues

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to provide specialist services in support of project requirements

Independently performs highly complex professional assignments

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 15 years experience since obtaining maximum educational qualification

Experience within the Middle East region preferred

Additional Comments:

Arabic speaker would be an advantage

Should be prepared to Work at NEOM full time

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying /Engineering/ Construction Management or equivalent

Accredited MRICS member/ CIOB Member or equivalent or working towards
