Under Nursing Administrative direction, assumes twenty-four hour responsibility for managing the human and material resources of the assigned Nursing Unit. Leads and directs the provision of high quality and safe patient care, in an environment that fosters and encourages staff growth and both patient and staff satisfaction and safety.
Contributes and implements the nursing strategy within the unit, developing monthly achievement report to demonstrate effectiveness of the strategy and approaches used in working towards achievement of the organizational aims and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Licensure:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
Valid Nursing License from country of origin required.
Valid Registration in Saudi Council (working towards nurse specialist level).
Audit Techniques and Approaches to Quality.
Understanding and application of Research Methods.
Thorough knowledge of the applicable skills check list.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of seven (7) years postgraduate experience including (2) years as Head Nurse or equivalent grade in the specialty or a related area.
Previous experience of working in a multi-cultural environment.
