Application Support Analyst

This role will be providing support for critical applications and the associated application infrastructure. You’ll be providing support for off the shelf software as well as bespoke systems and a mix of quick fixes for users ranging to more complicated investigations.

Responsibilities:

· Experience of working within an application support environment

· Application support - bespoke and off the shelf

· Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support

· Designing and developing new applications and updating existing applications.

· Performing software and web development and Promoting software updates to various environments.

· Supporting the software life-cycle management of multiple applications

· Monitoring and troubleshooting interfaces, Application and Databases issues.

· Providing off-shift support as required.

· Developing solutions on existing platforms & suggesting possible platform updates/upgrades

· Provide on-demand or automated Reports from the application / databases as per business requirements.

· Converting Business requirements into Technical Design and Developed Application.

· Maintain smooth flow of operations and business needs with utmost efficiency

· Develop business applications for use within the company or for the external clients

· Provide technical support for existing and new applications

· Develop within C#, MVC, ASP.net

المهارات

- Good Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Must have experience in software development using .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript.

- Familiarity with the C#\ASP.Net framework with design/architectural patterns (Model-View-Controller (MVC))

- Experience working with SQL server, Oracle, MySQL (T-SQL, stored procedures, DDL / DML, ADO.NET, LINQ to SQL)

- Experience in implementing business logic using Triggers, Indexes, Views and Stored procedures.

- Knowledge in SSAS is a Plus.

- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

- Good in English read and write. Arabic is a Plus.

- Passionate about growing employee engagement, team player who has passion on learning new technologies and sharing knowledge and innovative ideas.

- Enthusiastic or urge in learning new technologies and application as per the requirement.

- Strong team player and display good people skill when interacting with Business users, Functional and Technical team to meet the project deadlines.

- Technologies: C#, ASP.Net, AJAX, VB.Net, JQuery, SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Crystal Reports, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)

Added technologies as plus point:

Android Development, Windows Mobile Development, PHP, JavaScript and DB2.
Software development and or experience with Scanning and Imaging tools.
Experience within a Recorded and Data storage environment will be highly desirable
- Mobile Application development is a Plus.

Exposure to MS AZure / VMware / and cloud infrastructure advantageous
