Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards
As Assistant Purchasing Manager, you will ensure the accuracy of stocks, vendor relationships, managing business partners both internal & external, vendor prepayments, and provide periodic reports to line manager based out of UAE & HOSC
· Responsible with the purchasing of all goods and equipment required by the brands.
· Purchase the approved products/services at a competitive price and proper quantities/volumes
· responsible with regular reports on goods purchased and work closely with demand planning manager to keep accurate inventory levels so to allow for more effective future purchasing.
· Report all monthly savings to the team.
· Work with management to improve the purchasing process to reduce waste and improve profitability.
· Maintain good communication and working relationships with stake holders, business partners, host brands & managers.
· Organize monthly meetings/conference call between top vendors & line manager.
· Act promptly on health and safety/QA requests and follow the correct procedures when required.
· Serve your role and Team in an environmentally-conscience manner.
· Prepare purchase orders & Purchase requests.
Skills & Knowledge
· Computer literate, with good MS Excel skills
· Good time management, communication and organization skills
· Previous experience with the FMC & Oracle is an advantage.
· Previous Experience in F&B;/Hotels industry is must minimum 3 Years.
