Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Manage and be responsible for installation of Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) Signaling System consisting of infrastructure assets such as signals, train stops, track circuits, train detection systems, point operation and detection systems, traction (electrical current) return arrangements, vital interlocking systems, telemetry systems, ensuring that all actions are performed according to the guidelines and regulations of the project (drawings, method statements etc.)
Review installation statements, drawings for installation and inspect materials.
Review, develop and confirm inspection criteria provided by contractors on Signaling System.
Assist the senior engineer, engineers and inspectors during inspection.
Report site inspection results to System Construction Lead.
Review NCR for any non-compliance works on site.
Perform Interface with associated system such as RST, Track, 3rd Rail, Communication, Power Supply OCC) and Architecture / Civil work.
Coordinate with internal & external Stakeholders to resolve issues.
Manage and be responsible for commissioning of the installed Signaling System.
Review & confirm Test & Commissioning plan provided by the contractors.
Develop and deliver technical papers related to installation and Testing & Commissioning to stakeholders.
Manage schedule and settle issues during installation and commissioning by leading interdisciplinary installation and commissioning teams.
Review of as-built, O&M;manuals etc., which are needed for installation and commissioning guides
Develop technical solutions to issues that may take place during installation and Testing & Commissioning
