Project Director

الوصف الوظيفي
Is responsible for the overall performance of the project (contractual, financial and technical) and assumes accountability for the performance of sub-contracted entities in the performance of the services required to deliver the contracted scope of services.

· Optimizes resources required for project delivery and actively support staff professional development.

· Plans, directs, and supervises all operations included in a large, complex project or several moderately sized projects with greater risk and complexity, and significant financial impact.

· Resolves complex issues.

· Manages projects on a local to national basis achieving quality outcomes, financial performance and client satisfaction.

· Successfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and executes project(s).

· Acts as primary point of contact with client and has full responsibility for project delivery.

· Project teams may include 10 or more members often representing multiple business lines, working in remote locations and including a subcontractor(s).

Minimum Requirements:

· Minimum 20 years’ senior management experience in building, construction or infrastructure environment, plus 5 years of experience in a senior technical position with a broad engineering background

· Must have previous sporting specific/ stadium experience

· Maintain stakeholder relations with utility providers, private and public sector stakeholders

· Proven track record of delivering project excellence in a direct project/program management role, and overseeing project control (cost, schedule, scope and trends), environment, health and safety, risk management, contracts, procurement and financial management, and quality assurance

· Demonstrate experience of executing and delivering successful large-scale engineering projects at regional and/or global level.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Degree qualified in a relevant discipline

· PMP, APM or an equivalent accreditation

· Membership of a chartered institution MICE/ MCIOB/ MRICS

· Proven track record of instituting project excellence models and best practices, including capacity building and talent development

· Seasonal experience and knowledge of local authority processes, procedures, codes and regulations.
