Job Description and Requirements Under Nursing adminstrative direction, assumes twenty-four hor responsibility for managing the hman and material resources of the assigned nursing unit. Leads and directs the provision of high quality and safe patient care, in an environment that fosters and encourages staff growth and both patient and staff satisfaction and safety. Contributes and implements the nursing strategy within the unit, developin monthly achievement report to demonstrate effectiveness of the strategy and approaches used in working towards achievement of the organizational aims and objectives. EDUCATION/LICENSURE BSc/BSN from a Recognized Facility. Current Professional Nurse Registration in Country of Origin. Basic Audit Techniques and Approaches to Quality. Basic Research Methods PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS (7) Seven years post graduate experience including (2) years at Head Nurse or equivalent grade in the specialty or a related area. Demonstrated leadership and management abilities. Staff Appraisal - Giving and Receiving Feedback. Setting Standards and Measuring Outcomes. Problem Solving and Organizational Skills. Diplomacy and Negotiation Skills. Ability to Motivate and Inspire
