Director of Construction Management

Job Description and Requirements
Job Overview
The Construction Management Director oversees the implementation of the Company’s real-estate development projects, and ensures that the consistency, predictability and efficiency of the projects delivery capability. Provides leadership in best practices and ensures that the operational issues of the department are managed, focusing on timely completion of the projects within the approved budget and scope.

Reporting to: VP Projects

Responsibilities

Participates in the successful implementation of the Company’s strategy, through the realization of the real-estate development projects.
Establishes frameworks and standards for Project Management within the Company
Monitors projects reporting and assists the VP-Projects in reporting to Senior Management.
Reviews financial reporting whilst ensuring that the projects adhere to the corporate financial processes
Provides a quality assurance role in line with defined projects processes.
Builds cohesion within the Projects department team and motivates them to produce quality work.
Defines and embeds project control and governance
Provides Project planning, Milestone management, Scope management, Resource forecasting; Financial Management; Change Management across the projects portfolio.
Ensures efficient change control methods and process are utilized
Supports the procurement department in the bidding preparation and review.

Excellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentations
Diplomatic ability to influence others at all levels of the business
Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders
Training and coaching of Project Managers and PMO staff
Knowledgeable and experienced in efficient Change Management methods

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Project Management Certification is preferred
15+ years experience
At least 5+ years experience within Project Management/ PMO Management within Real Estate Projects
Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling and closing hospitality projects
Strong experience in managing complete lifecycle of a project
Strong experience in creating and maintaining project plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
Open to all nationalities in KSA now

Salary/Compensation

Salary to be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance
Salary is between 40k – 44k SAR per month base salary
