General Job Description
PMO-Manager support in the successful delivery of projects undertaken by Keir through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting of projects.
Specific Job Description
Facilitate Project Planning
PMO – Manager will lead in implementation of all aspects of project management, towards successful completion and close out of projects, with focus on delivery of commitments with high speed, good quality and high profit margin. PMO Manager is responsible to prioritize tasks, set deadlines and assign staff to various deliverables so that each project can be started with minimal wasted time and resources.
Analyze Financial Information
Monitor Project overhead and capital expenses to ensure achievement of cost efficiency and acting to correct any adverse variances. Responsible for proper distribution and allocation of resources, the implementation of budgets and the quantification of monetary risk and impact. PMO Managers will be frequently required to provide budget outlines and financial reports to executives, such as the Chief Financial Officer.
Modify Processes
PMO Managers will need to improve new and existing processes, continually reevaluate whether each project is meeting the applicable standards and engage in problem solving with other Managers and personnel.
Ensure Documentation
Every step of a project’s creation, development and execution needs to be thoroughly documented, and it’s up to the PMO Manager to ensure the accurate completion of such documents.
General Duties
a. Responsible for the establishment and management of a project methodology incorporating structures, standards, processes, documentation and reporting which is agile, fits the needs of the project and puts emphasis on the quality of decision making and timely project delivery. b. Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete c. Contributes to overall profitability of Keir by monitoring all areas of Project expenditure and reporting on performance against variations
