Technical Assurance Engineer

Job Description and Requirements
Under the contract, KBR is seeking to recruit staff to deliver:

Support in delivering IP Telephony at multiple sites, host applications such as Network Management System, Cable Management System and incident management software.
Operation of Service Desks in a number of regions.
Support to maintain operational capability of Fixed & Deployable equipment/capabilities.
Design & deliver a new Management Information System
Technical & English Language Training in a number of regional locations.
Built Estate maintenance and upkeep.
Role Description:

The Technical Assurance Engineer will manage technical assurance activities within the project. Working within a small team of Assurance Engineers, the post holder will be responsible for advising the Client, through the Technical assurance manager on the suitability for acceptance into operations of a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities Include:

Assurance/acceptance of project works that are being conducted on the clients portfolio to enable works to be brought onto the existing network
Assurance/acceptance that works carried out meets the design specification and standards
Controlling processes and meetings to ensure correct transfer of network and services
Providing feedback and ensuring clients expectations are adhered to
Ensuring that at all times the companies Health and Safety (Zero Harm) culture is adhered to.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Essential:

Able to demonstrate a network engineering (communications) background
Able to approve designs of network communication equipment installations
Preferred:

Experience of working in the middle east
