MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (JOB DESCRIPTION)
• Manage the Technical Department, Technical Support and Manufacturing functions to meet budgeted financial performance
• Develop the value engineering in cooperation with all parties.
• Oversee and co-ordinate production of mechanical, electronic, electrical, Soft Landscape, Hard Landscape, and Road work.
• Plan all technical aspects of the programme & projects, and to be able to prepare a design schedule, material log and Method Statement according to the Project activities/specification.
• To be responsible for the preparation of detailed constructional drawings, the negotiation and securing of technical and statutory approvals to achieve and monitor the optimum timing programmes.
• To provide layouts, general arrangements and detailed technical drawings on AutoCAD in accordance with project specifications.
• Supervise the Detailers team by managing their time and by cross-checking all drawings to ensure it is up to standard.
• Prepare assembly and detail drawings.
• Be responsible to delivering and coordinating all technical aspects of the project in accordance with the plan.
• Provide technical liaison with the end-user and construction manager. Be the key interface between design and project teams
• Attend production meetings and, where needed, chair design meetings.
• Keep track of all scope changes and ensure that the change control process and technical query process are adhered to and communicated fully on all projects Take the lead in driving a culture of continuous improvement within the
• Prepare BOQ for the approved drawings for the procurement, production and PMs depts.
• The co-ordination of production of all necessary technical drawings/specialised designs.
• To be responsible for identifying and resolving technical design and constructional problems.
• Ensuring all technical work is carried out within the approved budgets.

• Provide technical support to operational functions in the most efficient manner for all concerned
• Improve the effectiveness of the Company’s internal systems; increasing efficiency and reducing administrative overhead
• Provide relevant technical information to Operations staff to enable proper operation and maintenance of Field Technical.
المهارات
• Minimum of five years’ experience at Technical Manager Level or equivalent.
• Experience in concrete, underground Utilities, and Landscaping (Soft/Hard)
• Demonstration of a high level of competency with regard to analytical thinking and problem solving.
