Job Description and Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will have a BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or IT, or alternatively 5 years of maintaining, upgrading, and customizing Sample Manager©.
You must have 5 years of experience in software development on the .Net platform with C#.
Advanced knowledge of SQL.
Intermediate knowledge required to manage Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle and SQL Server.
Previous experience in managing a LIMS, preferably Sample Manager. Alternatively, the candidate should have managed a multitier system involving presentation, application, business, and data access layers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Maintain and upgrade the system, including all the components from presentation to database layers.
Implement and deploy new functionality.
Respond to new business requirements through an active engagement with the customers.
Troubleshoot the system and ensure a 24x7 system availability.
Plan and interact with various IT organization in preparation for upgrades
Cooperate with Information Security Analysts to ensure the security and integrity of the system.
Mentor less experienced team members in the management of the system.
