Aftertreatment Specialist

Job Description and Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will hold an advanced degree in Chemistry, or Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, from a recognized and approved program.
You will have at least eight years of experience in aftertreatment R&D;, including knowhow of emission reduction systems and familiarity with emission regulations.
You will be able to demonstrate strong record of patents and publications.

You will have strong R&D;project management skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Conduct high quality research tasks on utilizing emission control systems to enable drastic reduction in criteria pollutants and CO2 emissions.

Study the effects of fuel injection strategies and fuel properties on emissions.

Address the technical challenges associated with developing novel aftertreatment systems in support of efficient, affordable and sustainable mobility.
Prepare periodic progress reports and deliver technical presentations.

Deliver technical presentations to R&D;management. 

Mentor and oversee development of junior colleagues in your area of specialty.

Submit patents, write technical papers and give technical presentations in international events.
