Job Description and Requirements You will have at least 20 years of experience within a major technology licensing and/or oil company, with a strong background in all refining process technologies, particularly bottom of the barrel technologies, including hydrotreating, hydrocracking fluid catalytic cracking, coking, and gasification. You will have experience in R&D;, process design, technology development, commercialization, and refining operation with a strong knowledge in catalysis, thermodynamics, mass transfer, and kinetics and modeling. You will also possess working knowledge and experience in catalyst testing, evaluation, and liquid/solid analysis/characterization. Duties & Responsibilities: General consulting and planning of development programs, overseeing pilot implementation and testing, allocating facility and personnel resources, and interfacing with project scientists and technicians. Provide key strategic data to the R&DC;management to set the directions for existing and prospective projects and share experiences across project teams, communities of practice, and management team on innovative approaches in refining process technologies. Explore emerging opportunities to expand refining learning and knowledge experiences and participate in international organizations, associations, forums, and conferences to continually bring new ideas. Provide development and mentoring to junior engineers. |
