Overview The Business Development Manager – Meraki will have overall responsibility for enabling the sales of Cisco Meraki related products and services in KSA. Responsibilities include building a long term sustainable go to market plan and Meraki sales plan. This may also include a significant number of high volume, short cycle style transactions. The person will also oversee the development and closure of all Meraki led deals. The role will require disciplined cost management, in depth market and business segment consultant type knowledge, to ensure the planning and execution of quarterly sales that meet and strive to exceed both client expectations and sales targets. Inherently motivated, driven to impact change, with a desire to disrupt. Job Description • Deliver Cisco Meraki value proposition to clients. Translate products into innovative solution sets with developed and sound business cases that effectively persuade the client to invest in Meraki’s products and services.
• Establish strong consultant-like relationships with clients, the Cisco Meraki team and internally, by orchestrating a cross functional team across divisions such as Sales, Business Unit, Pre-Sales, Solutions and Services.
• Profitably deliver Hardware, Software and Services to clients against revenue sales and margin contribution targets for the KSA national market.
• Be part of the team: help develop the sales strategy, provide the design, gather resources and help close the deal.
• Represent customer needs and serve as the voice of their market.
• Stay current in both technology and business innovations, bringing Meraki’s capabilities to the forefront, using own brand and style.
• Handle local escalations and participate directly in complex sales situations.
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual national analyses.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, sales and marketing tactics, to include recommended changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating campaign results and competitive developments.

• Direct experience in Product Management and or Consulting will be an advantage.
• Ability to successfully interface with senior management and vendors
• Must be self-directed and a highly motivated individual, able to accelerate sales
• Strong track record of driving new customer acquisition
• Strong track record of driving new technologies into customer accounts
• Work effectively in a matrix environment
• Ability to manage complex sales situations and large projects
• Effectively manage multiple clients, deals and initiatives in various stages of development at the same time
• Clear record of achievement working across cross functional teams
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail. Extremely articulate with strong presentation skills and comfortable presenting in front of senior level customer audiences and influence their decisions
• Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution ability.
• Cisco Certifications and experience will be an added advantage.
